At mid morning have a wine tasting of 6 different wines from one of South Africa’s best wineries For lunch an amazingly romantic picnic at the dam with a bottle of wine chosen from the wine tasting and then spend the afternoon relaxing with your loved one under the trees with only the sound of flowing water and the local birds as your own private orchestra. Relax at the lodge and then go for a 2-hour game drive in the Dinokeng Game Reserve and watch the sun setting over Dinokeng. Arrive back at Tamboti in the early evening and relax at the bar before having one of our special three course meals in Tamboti’s restaurant before popping off to bed in one of Tamboti’s lovely suites.

Spend a very, very romantic weekend in the bushveld just 30 mins drive from Pretoria.Arrive on Friday afternoon and relax at the dam or in your suite with a glass of bubbly, have a lovely three course meal in the Tamboti restaurant. Sweet dreams in the oversize double bed!!!!
Awake on a lazy Saturday morning and have one of our famous Tamboti Breakfasts, before lazing at the pool. For lunch have a romantic picnic at the dam with a bottle of wine and spend the afternoon relaxing with your loved one under the trees with only the sound of flowing water and the local birds as your own private orchestra.In the late afternoon we will take you on a game drive and we see if we can live up to our promise to get you up close and personal to some the wild animals in the Reserve. Enjoy a sundowner as we watch a beautiful sunset in the bush.Enjoy one of our delicious meals in the restaurant and if you want to sit at the fire, we will make one for you either in the boma or in the pub.Benefit from the quietness of the real African bushveld, broken only by the cries of the jackal or a bush baby serenading in the trees as you dream away the night.
On Sunday morning have a tummy filling English breakfast before you leave us to go back to the city. The romantic weekend includes all accommodation and meals plus all of the activities above plus a complimentary bottle of wine for the picnic, a glass of bubbly on arrival and a sundowner in the bush. Cool Adventure Weekend
Arrive on Friday afternoon and relax until dinner time and then enjoy a wonderful three course dinner at the Tamboti Restaurant. After dinner leave on a night ride to look for the “elusive eleven”. These are nocturnal animals that are rarely seen in the Game Reserve. (porcupine, aardvark, hedgehog, civet, aardwolf, serval, side stripe jackal, caracal, african wild cat, bushpig, pangolin !!! ) stop in the bush for some quiet time and a cup of coffee or tea. Then back to the lodge and into bed.
Saturday Start the morning with a mountain bike safari or an early morning horseback safari. Come back to the lodge for a well deserved breakfast. After breakfast a fishing competition at the dam, we will supply the fishing equipment. If you are an experienced fisherperson and you want to bring your own secret ingredients or some delectable earthworms for bait then feel free. A light lunch will be served and then you can relax at the pool for the afternoon. Late afternoon starts with a few shooter games and then sit around the fire while we make you a tasty potjie. Stay relaxed at the fire until the fresh air and tranquility get to you and you wander off to bed.
Sunday Start the day with an early morning cup of coffee and a rusk and then onto the game viewers to seek the wild animals in the Dinokeng Game Reserve. Then back to Tamboti for one of our famous Tamboti Breakfasts and then you can relax at the pool until your departure from Tamboti.. A light lunch will be served and off to the bush to do some clay pigeon shooting. Your opportunity to let rip with a shotgun. Then afterwards you can relax at the pool for the rest of the afternoon. Late afternoon starts with a few shooter games and then sit around the fire while we make you a tasty potjie. Stay relaxed at the fire until the fresh air and tranquility get to you and you wander off to bed.
